Citing the rise in exports of Ayurveda-related merchandise because the starting of the COVID-19 pandemic, the federal government has determined to arrange an export promotion council for AYUSH merchandise.
The Ministries of Finance, Commerce and Trade, and AYUSH will work collectively to facilitate extra exports of such merchandise, by standardising their HS (Harmonised System) codes used for international commerce.
